had the best driving lesson today. was absolutely zai. yesh. hopefully a sign of things to come. and walking towards gombak i saw yet another mini. becoming like an ipod syndrome. gosh. hope i don't grow to hate it cause i hate mainstream when it means any uncle aunty or ah beng also uses it. haiyo.


isn't it weird how expectations and hopes grows with our age but not by proportion? like, a model ferrari made you happy once but now, it must be a mini cooper or honda crossroad. a fillet o fish could be the highlight at the end of a school day but now, it better be my bloody chi chi dinner at some posh nosh restaurant. quicksilver or billabong was hip but now it's thrash. zara is staple wear and massimo or ck is the new bong. a trip to orchard road with pals was filled with wonder but i want to be in tsim tsa tui, ginza, ximending now. and yesterday i even talked about shoppin in paris and barcelona with sloth.


so is it good or bad? all this raised expectations and impossible to satisfy cravings and urge. well, one thing's for sure. we were so happy when kids cause everything hit above our pathetic cute expectations. soccer at the bball court and running half naked playing freeze in the sajs school field?! how awesome was tht? oh wells, time to live high means time to live high. but a simple malaysian trip can satisfy the same way as europe tour. i hope=)
