In the midst of random chat with class peeps frm sb9, yh suddenly askd:" Eh weidong. joseph was you best friend right?". Wow. That was a long long time back in memory. "Oh you know him?". "You know betrand? Yar, he's joseph's friend and he says you were his primary school best friend." The truth is, there seemed to be so many primary school best friends. Joseph, emmanuel, derek, herng liang, samuel at one time, ching sian, and weeyang. Primary school, sajs, was just so indulging on one. Irresitably, i always think, what if i stayed in sas, or went to acsi instead of newtown? What have i lost? Gained? Thoughts only. Any regrets? Some. Reliefs? Some. It's just so scary, and you feel so vulnerable that things so important to you now and in the past seem to be able to change at simple whims and change of minds. Ah!
Got into signals institute. Suppose to be a slacking vocation. Reporting for the first time there tmr. Hope it will be ok.
Went drinking with some section mates yesterday. The harry's pub singer was great. And he was singing:" plitter platter plitter platter". And the rain in potong pasir kicking the peeling soccer ball on that wet field came in side by side with marching in the drizzle wearing that blue blue uniform in smurf land. And i remember the day when i walked back from acjc to home in the rain. The bliss despite getting soaked. When all the moments seemed to gather.

I might have been a singer
Who sailed around the world
A gambler who wins milions
And spent it all on girls
I might have been a poet
Who walked upon the moon
A scientist who would tell the world
I discovered something new
I might have loved a king
Been the one to end a war
A criminal who drinks champagne
And never could be caught
But among your books
Among your clothes
Among the noise and fuss
I've let it go
I can't stop
And catch my breath
And look no further
For happiness
And I will not
Turn again
Cause my heart
Has found it's home
Everyone i'll never meet
And the friends
I wont now make
The adventures that they could have been
And the risks i'll never take
But among your books
Among your clothes
Among your noise
And fuss i've let it go
I can't stop
And catch my breath
And look no further
For happiness
And I will not
Turn again
Cause my heart
Has found it's home

Jason Mraz - lucky(Live in holland)
lucky
by Jason Mraz
Do you hear me?
Talking to you
Across the water
Across the deep blue ocean
Under the open sky
Oh my, baby I'm trying
Boy I hear you in my dreams
I feel your whisper across the sea
I keep you with me in my heart
You make it easier when life gets hard
Lucky I'm in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
Ohhhohhhohhhohhohhohhhohh
They don't know how long it takes
Waiting for a love like this
Every time we say goodbye
I wish we had one more kiss
I'll wait for you, I promise you I will
Lucky I'm in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
Lucky we're in love in every way
Lucky to have stayed where we have stayed
Lucky to be coming home someday
And so I'm sailing through the sea
To an island where we'll meet
You'll hear the music fill the air
I'll put a flower in your hair
Though the breezes through the trees
Move so pretty, you're all I see
As the world keeps spinning round
You hold me right here right now
Lucky I'm in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
Lucky we're in love in every way
Lucky to have stayed where we have stayed
Lucky to be coming home someday
Ohhhohhhohhhohhohhohhhohh
Ohhhohhhohhhohhohhohhhohhohhohhohh
