300 is a great movie. Super visual effects. Awesome vibes from the storyline although it is slightly racist at times. And it solved many problems personally. Haha. Shall not dwell on that. But it was cool to chill out with the guys. AC days were good mainly because of some people; the school, forget it.


Now, there's alot of changes again these few days. Like a sandstorm, a mist of peace covers over the turmoils. Course choices, people, amazing condescending remarks, all put away to the back of mind. Upgrades are friends' choices, people, and friendly vibes. Errrr...ok... so we are back to square one, just on a more friendly note. Haha.


Ms liang's tag and post made me think abit. Chasing wealth, status really doesnt come along with ideals? Hmmm.So what's the chase about? Is it about money alone or status for that matter? Do people enjoy them the same way? Does money have the same purpose for all of us? Status? A great example: Some cadets in np times used to remark that all that matter in their cca life is that they get the rank, move on and get the cca points. But they are always the ones who never get it right and never move on. Thus my squad have a few petty, narrow minded pursuers who become disillusioned halfway. Although such an analogy loses it's impact now that my perception of the unit is losing it's exalted positioning. The fact remains, that not all who reach high forgets the roots of it. Or for that matter, chased it in the first place. Or maybe chased it for very different reasons. For me, i went on a amazing 2 year utter dedication to the unit, and i'm not blushing for saying that, because simply friends won over and people whom i click with in late sec 2 years, are amazingly all doing quite well in the unit, i got to hang about right? Thus it explains the unreasonable jump in status in np and suddenly swimmin about the bigger fish tank. Not for the stupid cca points. But the friends. Dudes, Cca points don't even matter man!


So that is my own tidbits for thoughts.Also a reason why peace descended. I was reminded of why i was so uptight of choices to be made. What were the real purposes. That and other choices made these few days. More important choices. More important choices that uni admission? You bet. Even if they are not appreciated as much as you like them to be. You will walk home one day. That's the believe.
