Scrolled through friends' blog entries, tagboard messages, my own past entries and messages. It feels so truncated. As if many pieces of story joint but somehow very abruptly so. Like a very tasteful art flick where the director sincerely puts together a symphony of scenes to tell one story. And one song plays in the background controlling the puppet of life.


Just back from the yearly holidays i take with my family overseas. It's the same stuff every year. Just that this year there is more booze and too little exercise. Had too much experience of china wine which really does not deserve to be labelled wine when it gives your throat a sensation like a cognac does. Wow. Wine....riiiiiight.


Thank goodness for derek's cd just before flying off. The unbeleivable melodies and impossibly personal lyrics saved part of my soul from moulding in the new year. Damien rice's lyrics somehow makes you feel attached to them. As if they told your story, your song. If you have the chance like i did, just row away on a boat, to the middle of a lake. With you tak a stack of stuff, from the past, photos, diary, etc, and plug on your most soulful intimate music, and just float yourself away. Maybe you will find some answers. Maybe you won't. Maybe you hear the same chords as you did before the trip.

If you feel like, everything must change, jump off the boat.


If not, just float with the currents. And let it bring where it may.


It's the wrong kind of place to be thinking of you.
And we ignored others' happy plans.
For that delicate look upon your face.
